Support We Provide

We have branches in Poole, Dorchester, Southampton, Hampshire, and Surrey and we are focused on supporting individuals who have learning disabilities and other complex needs. These individuals have a wide range of needs and we provide direct one-to-one support or shared support to individuals, both adults and children, living in their own homes, or with their families, or in supported living settings. Some of our clients with complex healthcare and social needs are supported 24 hours a day, and others receive just a few hours of support a week, to help them in various aspects of everyday living. We provide the support when and where it is needed.

The majority of our work is directly commissioned by local authorities, but we also work with private individuals who fund our services through an individual's direct payments or their own funds.

How We Can Help YOU

Each of our clients is unique - with their own needs, specific requirements, and their own set of goals and aspirations. To establish what these are, and if we are the right people to offer support, we visit each of our prospective clients to gauge the level of support needed and the expertise required.

This service is provided completely free of charge, and if all parties are happy it is followed by a comprehensive needs and risk assessment process involving the client, their family, friends and wider circle of support. This creates a detailed and outcome-focused Person Centred Plan. During the assessment we also evaluate the help that can be provided by Assistive Technology, from the wide range of monitoring equipment available to our own MyDiary care solution.

We then begin sourcing support staff with the right skills match to assist. Our existing team of over 300 workers represent a full range of ages, backgrounds, experience, knowledge, and associated skills. We can often begin our support quite quickly, but we will also look to recruit additional staff with the aid of our clients, for job-specific roles. Once support has begun, the Person-Centred Plan is reviewed on an ongoing basis to ensure that changing needs can be addressed and that goals and outcomes are successfully met.

We are dedicated to meeting the specific needs of each of our clients by providing a highly professional service through empathetic and skilled support workers, backed up by an efficient and knowledgeable office team, whose role is to inspire and motivate both our clients and workforce. Our support service is dedicated to meeting these needs 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
